As we couldn’t include the children from the BLIND and Multiply-Handicapped Home in our Christmas Carnival, we arranged to bring a bit of the Carnival to them — as best we could, through some of the food we enjoyed. So we brought along the pastries from Plaza Athenee, the Oishi o-bento boxes of Japanese favorites, cookies from Kerry Flour Mills, Nuts from Thong Garden, Thai Glico pocky sticks, assorted candy from the Pinata games, a box of Malee fruit juice, Nestle’s Purelife bottles of water and a bucket of cookies given by a parent at the carnival. It was lunch time and hence, a bit intense to consider doing any other activity….But glad we could add this bit of sweetness to their day. We also shared the extra balloons with the kids, some o-bentos and the extra cooked food with Thai and Khmer workers on the construction sites right next to our centre.
