Christmas Collaboration!
Over this recent Christmas season, we had the pleasure of working with Khun Wanchai, Maetim and the talented children from the Thanksgiving Home. We started off with the donation of plastercraft which was used for an activity at the government-run Rachawadee Home for boys. The residents have been here in the Home since they were orphaned or abandoned as children. With interaction from volunteers, the boys/men found pleasure in the simple joy of painting the figurines.
Thank you to Ornprapa Roberts and family for the donation of these boxes of plastercraft. We also donated a few boxes for use by the Pakistani refugee community when we participated in their Christmas church service. The Thanksgiving home presented a magic show for the Pakistani children and ended it with an ice-cream treat for all. Finally on Christmas eve morning, we teamed up with Thanksgiving to perform an impromptu Nativity skit, a pantomine about growing up and temptations, and finally, a magic show for about 200+ children of a bilingual Thai school. It really showed us how much more we can impact and add value to the lives of others when we can work together.
