Networking to bring More for Mae Sot
Finally, the day is done. Our last visitors were from the Thai Border Consortium. They rolled into our gates at about 11pm to pick up supplies for the displaced migrant Karen communities in Mae Sot. This included 20 boxes of mosquito coils, 60 kilos of flour a couple of baby walkers, foodstuffs, books and clothes .The team — guys who’ve never driven in Bangkok, having come from Kanachanburi, Mae Hong Son, and all the border districts, had a mini tour of Bangkok this evening as they got quite lost making their way from Saladeng to Wacharapol! It’s just amazing they made it in under two hours! Well, it’s worth the collection of these coils for the Homes and villages up there on the border! God bless the convoy of trucks driving back up to Mae Sot today!
