In working with International schools and the expat community here , we often receive alot of donated items when people relocate and move. As such, we receive branded labels like Zara, H&M, Gucci , Pomelo .etc… designer outfits, office wear, evening dresses, high heel shoes, battery-operated toys, incense holders, winter-wear and alot of fancy equipment that won’t be used by our communities . They are however better converted into cash which can then support our transport, schooling, food expenses for our slum kids or supplies for he displaced Karen migrants fleeing the attacks on their villages. What we sell at our charity shop is often as good as new, and
