It’s that time of year again in Thailand, when temperatures soar way up to around 37- 40degrees C! So, with a little planning ahead, we were able to raise funds for a special outing (THANK YOU, Ms #DarlingYao and her Darwin family clan!! ) for the children from the Emergency Shelter AS WELL AS the developmentally-challenged kids from the #ThanksgivingHome! With the closest beach about 3 hours out of Bangkok, we decided that the best option was the “beach” at the #WaterPark at Suan Siam right in Bangkok! This Park also packs in a bonus with the amusement park features of carousel rides, and other mechanical fun distractions for the kids and teens. We had a total of about 30 kids aged from eight months to 18! Because we had almost 20 little kids, we also had some help from international student teen volunteers. Everyone had a splashing great time, even in the sweltering heat. The pictures tell the story. As we were leaving, we had complete strangers from Bahrain, come up and hand lollipops to all the kids… The treats just never end!!! Yes..and that’s how we want these kids to live their lives — as if the treats never end! They are loved and blessed no matter where they are and who they’re with. So glad to have had the pleasure of giving them this opportunity.
