Thanks to eleven-year-old LUCA’s efforts, these & almost 44 piglets — will soon be delivered to help 14 displaced and disadvantaged Karen communities including centers/dormitories housing and caring for students from the hillside villages, the Feed My Lambs Home in Mae Sot and poor hillside villages in Maeramat. This is part of a self-sustaining project which will see these pigs cared for till they are big enough to be sold in the market place. The income from the sale will go towards buying more piglets and pay for school fees and students’ needs.
