LOVE Responds

LOVE responds — going beyond the appearance of creed, color, nationality, or rights!

Let’s just do what’s loving and give what’s needed by others, not judging to see what they deserve!

I’ve had the pleasure to work with the awesome crew at the Mirror Foundation, a large local NGO that is well known for its tireless work to find missing children, providing a shelter for kids in the northeast, helping the disadvantaged, and serving the needy. We have often collaborated on different projects in the past.

Recently, the Foundation contacted me as they wanted to provide CrisisCare Boxes to the hard-hit Refugee community in Bangkok who have always been challenged as they have no regular sources of support or income. Their situation has been exacerbated because of the cv lockdowns. We’ve been very much involved in assisting this group – check out our projects on this page.

Unlike the judgments of some who frown on the refugees who are here, I’m thrilled to work with the Mirror Foundation who are actively showing the way to “love our neighbor as ourselves”.

Last week, we worked together to send out almost 60 large boxes of rice, milk. canned food, cooking oil, salt, sugar, mask, hand sanitizers, paper diapers, and female napkins. It was one box per refugee family.

We are in the process of helping another 100-200 families. If there’s one good thing that’s come out of Covid is how much we see so much more compassion, kindness, sacrificial giving, grace, and generosity as people begin to see the needs of others and are able to fulfill the Golden Rule of “doing to others as they want to be done to themselves”. There’s just so much more goodness being mirrored and reflected in our society, our world these days.

Thank you for your support and help!!
